The atmosphere at this little Chapel Hill eatery is fittingly serene and dainty for the name Parvaneh, which means "butterfly." It's also an appropriate environment for the lunchtime fare, a list that showcases the light, fragrant flavors of Persian cuisine in salads and sandwiches. Try a bright vinaigrette salad of cranberry beans, pickles and spring onions on pita; or minty, apricot-flecked Persian wheat salad; or salad Olivieh, chicken, diced potatoes, hard boiled eggs and fresh vegetables in a mayonnaise sauce, on a mini loaf. Can't decide? Go for the six salad sampler, served with pita.
